“Oh, hey. I was just hanging around thinking about all the great things I have in my life. I have a warm bed, good food, fun toys and most of all, humans who love me. Too bad not all my friends can say that. Some are homeless, while others have been abandoned to fend for themselves. I wish there was something I could do…is there something you can do?” — good pet
Celebrating our Pets in May
The month of May is National Pet Month and we at KirinGie.Me are dedicated to making a paws-itive impact for the lonely, scared, abandoned and homeless animals everywhere.
In honor of this month, we are exploring the world of pets with some new and exciting topics. We will take a look at our “special-abled” friends, shine a light on the importance of adopting over shopping (just say NO to puppy mills) and give our readers important tips on how to be disaster prepared and also how to prevent dog bites. In addition, we take a sad, but real look at cancer in animals and even check out some of our weaselly-ferret friends. You DO NOT want to miss it!
We can’t win this fight alone. Won’t you join your voice with ours? Together as a caring community of loving and devoted pet parents, we can change the face of abandoned animals. Let’s take a hopeless situation and turn it around for not only the betterment of our pets, but for the betterment of our society.
Sign up at KirinGie.Me (it’s FREE) to be kept updated on our latest articles and fun stuff. While you’re here, be sure to leave us a comment on how we’re doing, cute things your pet has done or just say “hi.”
KirinGie.Me is giving a voice to the voiceless and helping you to be the best pet parent you can be.
